Driving School LMS

If you want to drive in Texas, you can take the written test online

For years, I am Road Ready has provided online courses for Texans seeking drivers licenses. But when the State of Texas changed its requirements, IARR decided to replace its LMS, for many reasons.

IARR wanted to replace their Moodle solution with the Element platform so they could adapt their programs for drivers and update their business model quickly with less cost and effort.

The LMS makeover added a Spanish version to IARR’s online course to expand service to drivers whose primary language is Spanish. In addition, the new LMS upgraded the e-commerce store, enhanced test delivery, and improved reporting to track business changes and meet state requirements.

The new LMS implements the official State of Texas Drivers License exam in an approved online version. After completing payment online, drivers enroll in either the English or Spanish course. They complete six hours of e-learning and take their exams. Drivers can learn on computers, tablets or smart phones, but all use a phone to meet one state requirement: the LMS inserts and manages voice biometric authentication to verify the same person takes all modules and tests.

The adaptability of the Element platform enables IamRoadReady to keep pace with changing learner needs, business opportunities, and state requirements. .
